Seattle Mariners designated hitter Corey Hart left in the top of the 4th inning of Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Twins with an apparent hamstring injury.
Hart was on the move, stealing second base. He appeared to pull up towards the end of his run and slid awkwardly into second, calling for time immediately. He was removed and Stefen Romero took his place.
The Mariners were trailing 2-0 prior to Hart’s exit. Logan Morrison has been out for several weeks with a hamstring injury, the last thing the Mariners need is another player down with one.
More on this at it becomes available.
