The Seattle Mariners avoided arbitration hearings with newly-acquired Logan Morrison by agreeing to a one-year deal worth $1.75 million.
The deal is also worth up to $350K in incentives for the following plate appearance totals in 2014:
Potential Logan Morrison bonuses on top of $1.75M base break down as follows: $75K for 450 PA, $100K for 500, $100K for 550, $75K for 600.

Morrison, acquired via a trade with the Miami Marlins that sent reliever Carter Capps to South Beach, is coming off a season in which he missed about half the season (and almost half of 2012) with knee problems.
Morrison had been seeking a deal worth $2.5M while the Mariners had offered him $1.1M.
The only remaining arbitration item on the books for the Mariners now is that of Justin Smoak.
