The Seattle Mariners and outfielder Michael Saunders avoided arbitration by coming to terms with a one-year contract on Wednesday.
Details about the deal were not immediately made public, but the Seattle Times is reporting that the deal is worth $2.3 million.

Saunders, 27, hit .236 with 12 home runs and 46 RBI’s last year in 132 games while showing some versatility in playing all three outfield positions.
Saunders has two more seasons of arbitration eligibility before becoming a free agent following the 2016 season.
