The Seattle Mariners announced their schedule for the 2014 Spring Training season on Tuesday.
On the 33-game Cactus League schedule features a franchise-record eight night games and a trip to the Chicago Cubs’ new Spring Training home in Mesa, Arizona.
Pitchers and catchers report for physicals on February 12, taking the field on the 13th. Position players report Feb. 17.
The Mariners begin Cactus League games with the annual Charity Game against the San Diego Padres on Feb. 27 at Peoria Stadium. The M’s will play 16 spring games in Peoria.
The eight night games are Mar. 8 in Glendale against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Mar. 10 (D-Backs), Mar. 12 (Cubs), Mar. 14 and 28 (Rockies), Mar. 18 and 21 (Padres) and Mar. 25 (Royals)
The Mariners open the 2014 regular season on March 31 against the Angels in Anaheim. The home opener will be April 8 at 7:10 p.m. PT against those same Angels at Safeco Field.
Single-game tickets for spring games at Peoria Stadium will go on sale Jan. 4 at 8 a.m. PT on Mariners.com.
