Scherzer received 28 of the 30 possible 1st-place votes, one 2nd-place vote and one 3rd-place vote. Hisashi Iwakuma of the Seattle Mariners finished third with six 2nd-place, 12 3rd-place, six 4th-place and a 5th-place vote.
