GM Meetings Day One: All Quiet On The Trade Front

Day one of the 2013 MLB GM and Owners meetings has come and gone with little fanfare.

The biggest news coming out of Seattle was the hiring of Trent Jewett as Lloyd McClendon‘s bench coach for 2014. The only other tidbit affecting the Mariners was Kendrys Morales rejecting the one-year qualifying offer, as expected.
