The Smoak Poll

As many of you have come to notice, Justin Smoak has been struggling this season. A .561 OPS isn’t pretty no matter how you look at it. Recently, Smoak has been hitting the ball much harder, which is encouraging, but the results have yet to follow.

Smoak was brought in to be a cornerstone at first base, but after a brief display of power in the beginning of last season, Smoak to date has been a complete and utter disapointment.

I have my own opinions of Smoak, most of which involve me not quite ready to give up on the spoils of the Cliff Lee trade. However, I am curious as to the feeling of the Sodo fanbase.

If put in Jack Zduriencik’s shoes, how much longer do you allow Smoak to flounder before making a move (e.g: demotion, release, trade)?

How much longer do you give Justin Smoak?
