#SFGiants agree to terms on 3-year Major League contract with Pablo Sandoval

 There are a few of us who’ve had the pipe dream that the Mariners might make a move to go and get Sandoval this winter and I very much supported that move. But, as it stands now with Sandoval getting his extension and buying out his arbitration years it makes less sense at this point for the Giants move Sandoval.

Good on the Giants for making this move.

    While I wouldn’t have minded the M’s dealing for him I had few expectations that the Giants would give him up. There’s a couple of sayings here in the English Westcountry “shown willing” and “proper job.” I think Pablo did both, he showed he was willing to put the work in and lose the weight he needed to do to be a better player and when he had done that he did a proper job of playing the game offensively and defensively. Unfortunately two things Figgins so far has failed to do.
