End of Season Word Association with Jon Shields

This is part two of this series. Last time, we talked with Kirby Arnold of the Everett Herald.

I sent out an invitation to five members of the local media and five members of the local blogosphere. I simply asked: “Hey, play word association with me, please?”

Some were kind enough to do so. This time we speak to the awesome Jon Shields of Pro Ball NW.

Follow Jon on Twitter! Here are his responses:

Jack Zduriencik: Not Bavasi.

Eric Wedge: No Eye Contact

Ichiro: Still love you.

Felix Hernandez: Deserves better.

Miguel Olivo: I miss Rob.

Dustin Ackley: Golden boy.

Justin Smoak: SMH.

Michael Pineda: Blockbuster trade.

Mike Carp: Intriguing.

Franklin Gutierrez: DO BETTER

Milton Bradley: Best. Mariner. Ever.

Dave Niehaus: *snfflle.

Thanks to Jon for playing along. You’re the man, Jon.

Feel free to drop your word associations to the same players in the comments below. Or find a unicorn and send pictures to Adam. He loves those.

Jack Zduriencik: In Z we trust!

    Eric Wedge: Misses mustache

    Ichiro: May he end well.

    Felix Hernandez: Abused.

Miguel Olivo: Worth a B pick.

    Dustin Ackley: Brought up right.

    Justin Smoak: Better than Montero.

Michael Pineda: The second coming of Felix.

Mike Carp: Nothing fishy about his bat.

    Franklin Gutierrez: Food will help.

Milton Bradley: We’re indirectly paying his lawyers. That hurts.

    Dave Niehaus: Welcomes sit-ins.
