Boxscore: Game 63

Sure, Eric Wedge didn’t really help himself in that game last night. But, those guys out on that field were pretty helpless against Verlander. Yeah, I realize that he has pretty much pitched them back into contention (remember when Cleveland had the largest division lead margin?)…

Speaking of divison leaders… nice of our old friend Arthur Rhodes to give up that walk-off win for the Twins. That means the Mariners stay 2.5 games out of first. I suspect that we’ve seen the closest that we’ll get for first this year. But there is always a chance.

Also, don’t look now but Greg Halman has put together some really good at bats this year.

Oh and if you’re down with the rumor mill, the latest rumor has Dustin Ackley due up June 13 once we return from our road trip. It makes a lot of sense but we’ll see if it happens but only time will tell. But if I were in town I’d buy my tickets just to be sure I got in on the ground floor.
