Boxscore: Game 39

I understand why people are so frustrated with Brandon League, and I am too, but it’s ridiculous to go so far as to say something as stupid as he should be “Designated for Assignment”. Its simply ridiculous. He’s still the Mariners best option as the teams closer.

Lookout Landing’s Jeff Sullivan wrote a great piece about both League and Carlos Peguero. It really was right on spot and I hope you read it and learn from it.

Also, Peguero had a couple of very good at bats the other day and it’s really encouraging. While I don’t expect much out of him, except maybe a lot of strikeouts, it would be great to see him become a productive major league hitter.
