Game 5: Boxscore

Without recreating what everyone else does we’re going to start posting boxscore information here on the site for general reference and I think it also leads to some great information and keeps you up to date with what is going on with the team.

Is it me or does somehow Olivo not look real comfortable behind home plate? I know this is was his first regular season game catching Pineda but he seemed to be lunging for a few balls. Hew didn’t quite seem to have his body positioned right. And I noticed there was one pitch in the Bedard game that he seemed to completely miss…looked like a good strike that he never even got his glove on…I thought at the time that’s the kind of thing that will set Bedard’s fragile little psyche on edge and sure enough that batter roped him for a double.

There have been a few moments that I’ve noticed Olivo being tripped up. I wouldn’t call it being uncomfortable as much as just not being on the same page. But, yes I have noticed it too.

I’m not too worried about it. With time Miguel should blend well with the staff. Just give him time.
