Ken Griffey, Jr. Named Special Consultant to the Team

Per Shannon Drayer’s twitter, the Mariners have added Ken Griffey, Jr. as a Special Consultant to the team. I have always loved Junior the player, though as I have gotten older I don’t know how much I like Junior the person. But the players seem to like him, and he shouldn’t be able to cause any problems in this sort of role. At least, let’s hope not.
