There has been no formal mention of what the M’s return would be if a deal were to occur, but if I’m Jack Zduriencik, I’m pulling the trigger on that deal as long as I save most of the money owed to Figgins. I’m actually one of the few people who likes Figgins the player–he just doesn’t fit a rebuilding organization, and if you get a chance to move him, you have to do it.

Update, 8:52 am: It appears that the speculated potential return could include 3B Kevin Kouzmanoff and perhaps a pitcher as well.
Updates, 11:30 am: Larry Stone passes along that a possible hold up could be that Figgins has a partial no-trade cause, and Oakland is one of those teams. He has not been asked to waive it yet.
