Yeah it is a handy pitch.
Not sure why every pitcher doesn't have a sinker. Safe to throw (pronated release) and crazy effective.
He'll probably be somewhere in between. He's due for a decent amount of regression, particularly on home runs, but he was really, really good last year.
This is either really good for the Angels or really bad. If he can pitch like he did last year this will not be good, but if he returns to his AL Mariners form the Angels just wasted 16 million.
Can he pitch like last year? Hopefully not.
