I'd say it largely depends on what moves the Mariners make between now and spring training - if they sign another outfielder, he almost certainly ends up in Tacoma. If they don't, he probably starts in Seattle. If he has a big ST it could certainly help his case. It’s a tough call. It's not so much that he could be a five tool player, as it is that he doesn't do anything bad. I hate hearing this talk about how he'll be a good player, but "probably not a star". HATE THAT. He's going to be good. Elite no. But an awesome player to have on a team trying to win a world series? Yes. Yes, I do have a man crush on Michael Saunders.
