Agree with Jon on the fan projections. .370 OBP, .800 OPS? Maybe at some point in his career, but not in 2010. Also, you know, ~10-15 run difference in defense.

Jon, the point of this post was that though the two are very similar offensively, Kotchman’s defense adds a significant amount of value to the M’s. I would have thought you would get this.
Oh I wasn’t saying that with regards to the post.. more of an aside. I definitely get what you’re trying to say. Me, a few days ago:
