Knock Knock …

Anybody out there?

Well lets wake up and shake the frost off. There is a crazy rumor of the Tigers sending Edwin Jackson to Seattle in a possible three team deal that could end with us sending Brandon Morrow out the door.

This of course is simple speculation at this point in time. Do not underestimate what may be apart of this deal. I don’t know what I think about getting rid of Brandon Morrow. Jason Churchill speculated that it is selling low on Morrow at this point, but then again we don’t know if he’ll ever pan out and we effectively getting someone who has a chance at contributing something to the team this year.

At this point it’s speculation and to be honest I would be surprised if this rumor carried off and on for the next couple of  days or even past a week. Should it pan out or not, I believe we are in for one CRAZY winter.

Go ahead and let the crazy Chad questions commence!

Jon Heyman said on Twitter that word is, the Mariners are still talking to Tigers about Edwin Jackson

Great points Greg. I've heard the same people talk about the same "rumors". Which in my opnion are troubling.

Like I said we just have to sit and wait ...

Let's remember that even if that three-team trade happens, there's no guarantee we'd be the ones getting Jackson. Jackson might be going somewhere else, and we might give up more than just Morrow. I've read some people speculate (wish) that the other team is the Rays and Carl Crawford could be on his way here.

Who knows? Rumors are frustrating. I want real M's news; come on Z!

Morrow is 25 vs. Jackson who is 26. I think there could be some regreat but ultimately, Morrow still has some control problems and at best starts to put together mid season. But, even if he starts to put it together reaching his potential is quiet another argument.

I believe that we will sign a bunch of robots.

I think that from what we have seen from Morrow thus far (which is that he is not very durable and walks a ton of batters), Edwin Jackson in return is a steal. Well, maybe not a steal but I think that we get the better end of the deal. If that is the case anyway, if we have to give up anything but Morrow for Jackson then i'm not sure it is worth it. I'm not trying to get ahead of myself, because I realize that it is just talk right now but it's hard not to when you haven't heard any legit Mariners stuff in a long time

that's funny I was just coming to ask if you guys heard of this...

In some even more interesting news of the days, the Marlins supposedly would consider dealing one of their other arbitration eligible players(Nolasco is on that list) if they cant get what they want for Uggla

There is some hope guys!!
