Hannahan's a Beltre-level defender to be sure but unless he finds his bat I can't see him being more than a platoon. You're right about the new FO; it's simply too bad so many fans think Beltre was just another Bavasi failure when he was arguably the best move Bavasi ever made (either that or the Ichiro extension, which I think was more the ownership's doing).
