I’m not going to write another long post like I did for his 2,000th, because I pretty much said everything I wanted to say, but his latest accomplishment is just as impressive. I’d like to say that this record will stand for a long time – but it won’t. I’d estimate that it’s going to stand for about a year, right up until Ichiro breaks it. So congratulations Ichiro, on yet another well deserved record – 9 consecutive 200 hit seasons, and I look forward to number 10.
