Agreed Taylor, we need more comments on all our pages ... @ Jon ... I completely agree that the majority of these players have zero shot at being signed by the Mariners with the exception of Carlos Delgado which has been whispered through out the blogsphere, this was just a general look at who is avilable and who I was impressed with in general. I have always liked Jermaine Dye and I think that he is going to be a great pickup for some team that needs a DH. He just isn't a fit here, the same with Hank Blalock, i just don't like for this team. Matsui obviously isn't going to work with his fued with Ichiro but still I think he will be a great DH pick up, and your probably right with Brian Giles. But, look at Mike Sweeney ... you just never know. I really have a feeling that Jack has a few guys in mind and if i were a betting man i'd say they are below the radar. lol!
