Say This Sooner

There were some positives to take away from the brutal loss.

• Mike Sweeney was 1-2 with a BB raising his OBP to .321

• The Mariner hitters took 4 walks over the course of the game

• JOSE LOPEZ HAD A WALK!

• Josh Wilson had yet another extra-base hit

• In 4 PA Lopez only saw 9 pitches, including the walk *sad panda* (okay not a positive but I was pretty dumbfounded about this one and the next)

• Michael Saunders saw almost as many pitches (5) in one at bat than Jack Wilson saw in his three (8).

• Luke French came close to meeting my challenge of +8 missed bats and missed a total 8 bats, while walking no one in his 5 innings of work.

• Mark Lowe looked really good and had two strikes outs and threw 7 of 9 pitches for strikes.

• Bill Hall can play anywhere… and play it well. I was wrong for ever thinking that this pick up wasn’t helpful in anyway.
