		<description>Like I said, he is a better pitcher. But at the same time he isn&#039;t even a middle of the rotation guy. He maybe with the right defense, but on a team like KC he is always going to be a backend guy.</description>

		<description>Bannister hasn&#039;t turned himself into a stud, no.  But he&#039;s taken himself from a fringy arm to a consistently useful one.  The pitchers that are going to get the most out of paying attention to and utilize sabermetrics/pitch fx are the guys that lack the high true talent level.  Bannister has focused on getting grounders by basically replacing his 4 seamer with a cutter.. stuff like that.

The only pitcher that I know of that has high quality pure stuff that uses pitch f/x and sabermetrics is Max Scherzer.  Otherwise, it&#039;s the back of the rotation guys trying to up their stock a bit.</description>
